There is insufficient information in the Book of Mormon to locate the rock of Oreb in relation to any other places. Reserachers locate the rock of Oreb northward of Jerusalem in Ephraim.

II NEPHI 9:107 [20:26]: And the Lord of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
Commentary: This verse references the places of rock of Oreb and Egypt. This verse also occurs in Isaiah 10:26. The rock of Oreb and Egypt are mentioned in this verse, but provides no information regarding their locations.
