II NEPHI 9:14 [17:1]: And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin, king of Syria, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up towards Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
Commentary: This verse references the places of Israel, Jerusalem, Judah, and Syria. This verse also occurs in Isaiah 7:1. Commentary: This verse references the places of Israel and mount Zion. This verse also occurs in Isaiah 8:18. The term 'I' refers to Isaiah. The phrase 'in Israel' names the place as Israel and indicates it is a land. There is no information to locate Israel with respect to Mount Zion.
II NEPHI 9:131 [21:16]: And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
