Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  2. Boil the noodles for a few minutes until firm
  3. Brown hamburger with green onion, garlic, basil, fennel seed, Italian seasoning, pepper, parsley
  4. Add turkey sausage
  5. Add crushed tomato, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water
  6. Layer the bottom of a 13x9 baking dish with 5 noodles
  7. Layer 1/2 of the meat sauce on the noodles
  8. Layer 1/2 of the ricotta cheese over the meat sauce
  9. Layer 5 noodles
  10. Layer 1/2 of the cottage cheese over the noodles
  11. Layer the remaining meat sauce
  12. Layer the remaining ricotta cheese
  13. Layer 5 noodles
  14. Layer the remaining of the cottage cheese
  15. Top with the mozzarella cheese
  16. Sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese
  17. Cover with aluminum foil and cook for 30 minutes
  18. Uncover and cook for another 30 minutes
