Directions
- Cook the egg noodles. Drain.
- Dice (into small cubes) and cook the chicken with canola oil until it releases its water and just cooked through. Remove to a dish. Drain the water.
- Cook the garlic and onion in the skillet using a spray of cooking oil until the garlic releases it's aroma, about 1 minute.
- Add the chicken, soups, milk, chicken broth, peas, salt, and pepper. Heat until warm.
- In a 2 quart baking dish, add the cheese, noodles and chicken.
- Cook for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
Comments
- A very good, basic chicken casserole
- Optional: Substitute cream of chicken soup for the cream of mushroom and add fresh mushrooms
