Directions
- Mix the first 5 ingredients and put in a crock pot.
- Add the pork loin to the crock pot and cook on low 6 to 8 hours
- Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Remove the pork loin to a 8 x 8 baking dish.
- Add the sauce from the crock pot to the bottom of the dish to about 1/2 inch.
- Mix the Apple Butter and remaining ingredients into a glaze. Cover the pork loin with the glaze.
- Bake 15 minutes (or longer until the sauce in the bottom of the pan becomes a light syrup).
- Serve with the light syrup - to either drizzle over the pork or use on dinner rolls.
Comments
- Without a crock pot, cook 1 hour in a 350-degree oven. Cook in about 1-inch of sauce. Check periodically to add more sauce to prevent it turning into a heavy syrup.
- The brown sugar can be left out of the glaze to make it better for diabetics.
- This is the best recipe for pork loin that I have come across. Fat or no fat. Period.
