A Gift for You

A Gift

For You

Welcome

The greatest gift that you can receive is the gift of eternal life from God - an eternal life of happiness and free from guilt.

What do you need to do in order to receive this eternal life? Just believe that God exists and believe that He can grant you an eternal life of happiness.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Feeling Guilt

What guilt are we talking about?

It is your guilt from remembering all of the evil acts that you have committed.

There is one thing that all evil acts have in common - selfishness. Selfish acts are called "sins."

The list presented here is not all of the evil acts (sins) that a person can do. There are many sins that we do in our lives.

Sins

Test it for yourself - all of the evil acts (sins) listed above can only happen if a person is selfish in their heart. As a matter of fact, the "evil eye" phrase listed above are the words used for "selfishness" in the time of Jesus.

As for the selfishness of an "evil eye", it is described in Proverbs 28:22, "He that hastens to be rich hath an evil eye," and Deuteronomy 15:9, "thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou give him naught (nothing)"

Sins
God's Gift

Imagine... living forever remembering the guilt from all the selfishness that you have committed in your life.

The GIFT is that Jesus is willing to accept all of your sins so that you can forget them and live an eternity in happiness.

John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

What is needed to receive this gift? Do you have to be perfect to receive this gift? No. God provides a way for imperfect people to receive this gift

Faith

Jesus only asks that you do a few simple things

Faith
First Step

Remember - unless you repent of your sins, your guilt will haunt you forever and you will truly be "dead" to the only one that can save you - Jesus.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If you have just the smallest amount of faith that you can receive this gift, you can repent and receive this wonderful gift of eternal life.

But, YOU must take the first step. No matter how difficult your life may be or what you have done in the past, Jesus WILL accept you. God WILL accept you.

Ether 5:6 to 5:12

[6] And now I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would shew unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen;

[7] Wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith, for it was by faith that Christ shewed himself unto our fathers, after he had risen from the dead;

[8] And he shewed not himself unto them, until after they had faith in him; wherefore, it must needs be that some had faith in him, for he shewed himself not unto the world.

[9] But because of the faith of men, he has shewn himself unto the world, and glorified the name of the Father, and prepared a way that thereby others might be partakers of the heavenly gift, that they might hope for those things which they have not seen;

[10] Wherefore ye may also have hope, and be partakers of the gift, if ye will but have faith.

[12] But in the gift of his Son, hath God prepared a more excellent way, and it is by faith that it hath been fulfilled;

Faith, Believe, Hope

Is it worth it? YES!

Alma 13:48 to 51

[48] And it came to pass that after Aaron had expounded these things unto him, the king said, What shall I do, that I may have this eternal life of which thou hast spoken?

[49] Yea, what shall I do that I may be born of God, having this wicked spirit rooted out of my breast, and receive his Spirit, that I may be filled with joy, that I may not be cast off at the last day?

[50] Behold, said he, I will give up all that I possess; yea, I will forsake my kingdom, that I may receive this great joy.

[51] But Aaron said unto him, If thou desirest this thing, if thou wilt bow down before God, yea, if thou wilt repent of all thy sins, and will bow down before God, and call on his name in faith, believing that ye shall receive, then shalt thou receive the hope which thou desirest.
